Mid-Week Interruption: Final Book Tour Stops
If you happen to find yourself in Nebraska this weekend, or St. Simons next month.
Hello, fellow humans! I apologize for interrupting an otherwise surely sedate Tuesday afternoon, but: You may remember the big book tour that went on this summer for The Time Has Come. It was incredibly fun! Look at all those nice people in New York, in the above picture with me and the great Adam Moss, my old boss. We also went to Los Angeles, St. Louis, Athens, Downers Grove, Illinois and, amazingly, Missoula, Montana. You people are so nice! Meeting you is great.
Well, I wanted to drop a line and remind that we have two more stops on this here tour before we close up shop until the next book—which is coming along swimmingly!—hits stands in May 2025. (Assuming we are all not dead by then.) And the first is this Friday night. In Nebraska!
If you are anywhere near Lincoln, Nebraska this weekend—and considering there’s a Nebraska-Michigan football game the next day, which I will also be at, you might be—you should come out. The details!
Where: Francie & Finch Bookshop, 130 S. 13th Street, Lincoln, NE 68508. (It’s right downtown.)
When: Friday, September 29, 5:30 Central Time
Why: Because I will buy you a beer if you come. (I will!) I will also be with my son William, and I don’t think he believes me that anyone actually reads anything I write, so I’d like you to help prove to him otherwise.
This is the penultimate stop on the tour. The final stop is in St. Simons, Georgia, the weekend of the Georgia-Florida football game, on Friday, October 27. That’s actually a morning event; more details to come on that as we get closer.
But if you’re within driving distance of Lincoln, Nebraska this weekend—and we honestly had people drive nine hours to Missoula, if you can believe that—come on out and say hi, get your book signed and get a beer from me. Or a hug. Whichever you prefer.
All right, I won’t bother you again until Saturday. I hope you all are well. Would love to see you out there.
Best,
Will
I live in Texas and I wouldn’t come to Texas on a book tour, either. I get it.
By the by, I loved the book. Seriously.
Now that the writer's strike is over, lets get you hooked up with a screen writer, or you LEARN HOW TO DO IT WILL, and let's make that baby into a 6 episode series. K? thx.
Also, real quick, where's Nebraska? I live in California.
