It definitely feels good to move on from Matheny! I'm already looking forward to the new regime in KC. Advanced analytics are overdue for the Royals. I went to the Illini-Nebraska game and your team really dominated up-front like good B1G teams should. Good luck to them the rest of the season.
Aside from replaying my own mustache, yes/mustache,no over the years, the announcement of a new book made my day. How Lucky was a terrific novel that I enjoyed immensely. I will definitely pre-order The Time Has Come, if only for the excellent cover art!
Will, I have not even read the article yet, but “Trump wins by wearing you down” is absolutely, unequivocally true. It is one of the many, many things about him that continue to drive me insane. My prayer is that when he is gone, his unique “skill set” for that will cause the fever to break in all of us. This includes those of us who are revolted by everything about him, and those people, many of whom otherwise appear to be normal in everyday life, who worship him.
