I just watched Pujols close out the Cardinals win and I thought of you. It’s a goofy thing but I grinned throughout the entire appearance. Gotta love when baseball finds a way to induce total joy. Mármol earned a new fan today.

Lesser note: are there still book plates left? I bought the paperback of How Lucky for my classroom (since the hardcover has a permanent spot on my favorites shelf at home). Figured I’d ask before sending an unsolicited photo like a weirdo.

Thanks Will!

Was surprised to learn of the demise of "The Long Game" on the last show. Sorry to have one less option to listen to.

BTW also thought there would be a preseason show with Rany & Joe. Maybe waiting for a postseason get-together instead?

Thanks for being a blood donor Will! It's a wonderful thing! I'm over 11 gallons (I'm old). Thanks again for writing this newsletter! It helps me keep up with your New York Magazine articles. I love that rag, been subscribing for years and you are the best part of it! (Oops, out of apostrophes).
