I read your hipster jersey piece, with an eye on my team, the Mariners. Julio will be a superstar. His jerseys are already everywhere here and will be everywhere everywhere pretty soon. Matt Brasch? Ok, I can see that. But you missed Cal Raleigh. There's your hipster jersey.
Will, column was excellent today. It’s what I try to constantly tell my kids, and I wish my parents had told me: live for yourself and nobody else, follow your own dreams and not your parents’. Happiness is better than, or maybe even the same as, success. Thanks for saying it better than I ever could.
Also, I’m in Athens for work next week for a couple days. Can I buy you a beer (or coffee) Monday or Tuesday evening (or Tuesday or Wednesday morning)? If you’re available, shoot me a DM on LinkedIn, Twitter, or FB with a way to reach you (don’t think you’d get the postcard in time). Thx.
Just read your LeBron column in New York mag - seriously good. So there’s that…
(By the way, i heard something from my better 99% last night I never thought I would hear….I spend too much time every evening trying to find something we can watch together - to no avail…until last night when I chose Poker Face - halfway thru the first episode she grinned and said “I could watch this all nite!”. So we did. Love Natasha!)…
Hotmail needs to go live on a farm upstate with Pets.com. I get a couple calendar invites a week full of Chinese characters from hotmail addresses. Not sure what the scam is, but if anything those invites are arriving more frequently lately.
Man, I miss “The Long Game” podcast…
You're telling me ...
Me too...

Fair! I just can only see Julio ...
Thanks. I needed to read this.
Just let go from a big tech co. and been there 16.5 years.
My first layoff and (hopefully) not my last? In a way, yeah. Because that means I'm living, and still doing what I love to do.
Sorry to hear that, man ... keep plugging along. It's gonna all turn out great ...

Mom looks like she could go half marathon…you, on the other hand…
Hey, thanks!
Dotcoms come and dotcoms go, but The Crystal Method slaps forever.
I love how Hotmail is sold as this big cutting edge tech thing.
My old boss, Dave the Dinosaur they call him, still has a Hotmail email address.
Hey, I still use Yahoo mail myself ... gonna be me soon! (If not already.)
Full disclosure, my primary email address is a Yahoo account, too!

I can't imagine seeing that as a kid! It would blow my mind!
