I write for my job and was struggling with something recently and a colleague suggested I get ChatGPT to write it and I politely but flatly refused. I went to school for this. I should be able, should WANT to be able to do this, even when it’s difficult. I also worry that outsourcing this part of my brain’s work will make it less sharp, less able to do hard work in the future. Also, what I was writing was very personal and I’m sure AI could have come up with something, but I like to think that what I came up with was better.
The Yankees visit San Diego, Anaheim, and San Francisco consecutively in May 2024. Time to spend some vacation days!
