As an elder millennial, the Most Gen X book I've read this year — and the best one, period, imo — is Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin. Although I believe, Will, you're not much of a video game guy (gleaned from your podcast episode about the Mario Bros movie), and it is a rich text for people familiar with games and games history, it's much more a story about being creative and having creative partnerships. Couldn't stop reading, but even when I had to upon the end of the journey, the end felt right.
I have my ticket for the IMAX showing of Stop Making Sense. I cannot wait.
Station Eleven is a fantastic book. You really should watch the series on HBO though. It went in a few different directions and is it’s own thing, which is also pretty fantastic.

This was THE book I meant to get to this summer and didn't.
Will! What a fantastic surprise -- thanks for including my book!
The book is so great ... you deserve every great thing that's coming your way from it!

My only worry is that it seems to be not active anymore ... it is over?
They were able to tell the whole story in one near perfect season.
